Are menopausal symptoms taking over your life?
Let acupuncture help you today!

Did you know that it is possible to go through menopause without experiencing discomfort?

Menopause can be a frustrating experience for many women, but it doesn't have to be.  If you are one of the many women who are experiencing hot flashes, night sweats, irritability, mood swings, weight gain, lowered libido, vaginal dryness, erratic menstrual cycles and sleep disturbances, we are here to help through the power of acupuncture and East Asian Medicine.

Menopause is a natural part of life as we age.  Acupuncture can help treat the symptoms that arise during this stage of your life using safe, natural, methods to balance hormones, calm the nervous system and regulate other physiologic systems that contribute to symptoms of menopause and peri-menopause.

What to expect

Although many women experience similar menopausal symptoms, the root cause for their discomfort can be different.  Each treatment is tailored to your body's needs based on your East Asian Medicine diagnosis.  Your practitioner may discuss options for herbal medicine treatments, acupuncture, lifestyle shifts, dietary suggestions, meditation practices and more.

The initial meeting with your acupuncturist will consist of a 90 minute consultation where you will go over your past and present health history as well as your current health goals.  Your acupuncturist may use diagnostic methods such as pulse taking, observation of the tongue, face and body as well as abdominal palpation to decide what the most appropriate approach for your treatment will be.  You will be given a treatment plan based on your body's unique and individual needs.  Everyone's body responds differently and results do very from person to person.  Some may need more treatment than others in order to achieve the results they desire but with time, consistency, and a positive mindset it is possible to start feeling better and achieve your health goals.
